Hidden Letters and Unforgettable Emotions: A Fairytale Wedding in the Tuscan Hills

Hello beautiful souls!
Today I would like to talk about my last wedding in Tuscany.

Photographing weddings is always a deeply emotional experience for me, but there are some days that truly leave a mark on my heart, like the beautiful wedding I had the honor of capturing at Verreno, near Arezzo, in Tuscany. This stunning venue, nestled in the rolling Tuscan hills, was the perfect setting for the celebration of a wonderful Swiss couple. Every detail of this wedding made the day unforgettable—from the serene and relaxed atmosphere to the overwhelming sense of love that filled every moment.

The couple was incredibly sweet, and it was amazing to see how their personalities shone through the entire event. One of the most special, and perhaps one of the most touching gestures I’ve ever witnessed, was their personal letters to each of their guests. They had hidden these letters under the guests’ seat cushions, and at a certain point in the day, they revealed the surprise. When the guests found their letters, it sparked an indescribable wave of emotions. Watching tears of joy, sincere smiles, and the love that spread in that moment made me feel so fortunate to be there, capturing each and every second.

After lunch, the day transformed into a joyful and fun celebration. The couple had prepared some games to entertain their guests, and one of the highlights was a beer pong competition, which brought out laughter and friendly competition. It was fantastic to see how involved and comfortable everyone felt, surrounded by pure happiness.

And then, there was the music. The party truly came alive when an amazing blues funky band took the stage. Their melodies filled the air, and no one could resist the urge to dance. Everyone, from the younger friends to the older relatives, let loose, creating an electrifying and engaging atmosphere.

That day at Verreno wasn’t just a wedding—it was an authentic celebration of love, friendship, and togetherness. Events like this remind me why I love my job so much. Every wedding is unique, every couple is special, and being able to tell their stories through my photos is a privilege I will never stop appreciating.
